What is SolStake+?
SolStake+ lets you deposit SOL and hold its value as a US dollar balance. That balance earns 8.4% a year, added in small steps every night at 00:00 UTC.
Does the SOL price change my balance?
No. When your deposit is processed, its value is converted to US dollars at the SOL price at that moment. From then on your balance is counted in dollars, so SOL price moves do not raise or lower it.
How is the interest calculated?
Once a day at 00:00 UTC your balance is multiplied by 1.084^(1/365), a daily rate of about 0.022%. Compounded over 365 nights, that is exactly 8.4% a year.
Where does the interest come from?
In the spirit of transparency: we invest the SOL you deposit in low-risk stocks. What those investments earn pays your interest. SolStake+ keeps about 40% of it as profit, and the other 60% is paid to you as 8.4% a year. Stocks can fall as well as rise, so low-risk does not mean no risk.
Does SolStake+ charge fees?
No other fees. We earn by keeping about 40% of what our investments make; your share is the 8.4% a year. The only other cost is the Solana network fee for moving your deposit, about 0.000005 SOL.
How long does a deposit take to show up?
We check every deposit address every 30 minutes, at :00 and :30 UTC. New SOL is moved to our treasury, and your balance is credited as soon as the Solana network finalizes that transfer, usually within a minute of the check.
Is there a minimum deposit?
Yes, 0.001 SOL. Smaller amounts wait in your address until the total passes the minimum. The Solana network fee for moving your deposit, currently 0.000005 SOL, is taken from the amount moved.
What can I send to my deposit address?
Only native SOL on the Solana network. Tokens such as USDC, or SOL sent from another chain, are not credited.
Who holds the keys to my deposit address?
SolStake+ does. Your deposit address is created for you when you sign up, and its private key is stored encrypted and is never shown to anyone, including you. This is a custodial service.
